    Product feature
    1. Why can't you free dive with the Easybreath mask?
The volume of air contained in the Easybreath is much greater than that contained in a traditional mask; from 1 m deep, the pressure of the mask on the face becomes very uncomfortable. When you free dive, you need to equalize the pressure afterwards. However, with the Easybreath this is not possible because you cannot get at your nose.
    2. Why isn't the snorkel of the Easybreath very long?
Contrary to what some may think, the snorkel of the Easybreath sticks out of the water more than a traditional snorkel. A traditional snorkel seems longer because it starts from the mouth and not the top of the head like the Easybreath. To guarantee respiration that meets current standards, we cannot make the snorkel any longer.
    3. What size Easybreath should I choose?
The Easybreath is available in 2 sizes which cover 90% of faces. Children aged over 10, teenagers and women should opt for the S/M size, and men for the M/L size. To choose the right size in store, tighten the mask so that it fits against your face. There should be no gap between your chin and the bottom of the mask. More details: http://www.tribord.tm.fr/conseils/comment-choisir-la-taille-de-son-masque-easybreathr
    4. Why two sizes instead of four?
Sizes S/M and M/L cover 90% of face sizes of people aged over 10. Therefore, sizes XS and L/XL have been discontinued. This optimisation will enable us to reduce the price of the Easybreath.
    5. Can I use the Easybreath if I have a beard?
Beards can be responsible for letting in significant amounts of water. We recommend that men shave their beards before using the Easybreath because the hairs can break the seal between the silicone skirt of the mask and your skin.
    6. How does the exclusive anti-fogging concept work?
It works best in waters over 18°C and is based on the fact that the fresh air breathed in is projected onto the front window before reaching the nose or mouth. The moist air that you breathe out is expelled through the side connections made of plastic and then silicone, which channel the air in the snorkel. In this way, the air constantly renewed. This is the same principle as the ventilation of your car windscreen.
    7. How does the dry-top system stop water from entering?
It was developed to stop water from getting into the snorkel when there is choppy water, small waves on the surface or when the user leans their head too far forward to observe the seabed. There is a float in the snorkel that rises when you dive and blocks the tube. After diving, remember to blow out when returning to the surface to make sure that the float descends.
    8. What precautions should I take with my Easybreath mask?
Pay attention to sand! Avoid letting your Easybreath mask come into contact with sand as this can scratch the window of the mask. If sand is present, do not use force to clip the snorkel into place. Rinse the snorkel and mask before connecting them. Sand can also clog the float valve inside the snorkel. Rinse the snorkel vigorously or use a key that you can fit through the rear vents of the snorkel to unblock the float valve, then rinse the snorkel.
    9. Can I repair my Easybreath mask if it breaks?
YES, extend the lifespan of your Easybreath mask! After-sales service is available from the Workshop in your Decathlon store. Spare parts can also be purchased online at: http://spi-atelier.decathlon.fr/fr/atelier/produit/1885088 . Part codes: strap - 8316952, valve - 8363399, snorkel - 8342901, white cover - 8363395.

This mask is amazing. Went snorkelling on a tropical Island called Bintan. Vision was far more superior than our old normal mask. Due to the air pocket around your face, you float even better. That side of it would be great for the 'not so confident' swimmers.
Would highly recommend it to anyone going snorkelling.

I bought two of these for my kids aged 7 and 5 for a trip to Fiji. Previously they tried snorkel and google sets and didn't last 2 mins, with this marks they were about to snorkel for over an hour far from shore holding with us and they now love snorkeling. Didn't have any leaking. I will now buy some for my husband and I for our next trip.

we bought two of these to take with us to Ningaloo Reef in Western Australia. They work fantastically. I had to use the old type snorkel during the trip as my son was using the mask and I was reminded of just how much of a jump forward these masks are compared to the old type.

The only slight downside I found to this mask was a slight pressure on your face when you dive down with them due to the air in the mask but it is only slight and 95% of my time was on the top of the water rather than under it so it is an occasional and tiny thing. I have read that you cannot equalize your ears for deeper diving as you cannot grab your nose but i didn't go any deeper then 5 metres and had no issues.
    • Excellent Mask / Downside Equalising

Its an excellent mask to go snorkelling in. Clear vision, easy to breath, little to no fog, comfortable.

Downside: Cant free dive any deeper than your ears can withstand the pressure, as the mask is hard and covers your nose equalising while pressing holding your nose isn't possible. One could try shaking your head to equalise the pressure, doesn't work very well for me ;/

Unfortunately I lost the top part of the mask in the water, is there a way i could just purchase the top bit?
      Response of the brand
Hi Alex! Thanks very much for your feedback, and for highlighting the difficulty with equalising. The mask is designed for surface snorkelling and works best when used under those conditions. Of course, the snorkel is available as a spare part - we'll send you an email with the details right away.
See you soon, and thank you again.
      Sportingly, Kenneth
    • Amazing Mask, Fantastic Service

We bought our boys a mask each for Christmas. My younger boy is autistic and loves to swim but hates a standard snorkel mouthpiece. My older boy gets frustrated with his mask fogging up. After reading reviews on full face masks, we decided to go with Tribord. We couldn't have made a better decision! These masks are so well designed. My son popped the mask on, adjusted it and went off snorkeling for a good 20 minutes. My other son had longer hair which flopped over his face when he put the mask on. This did allow some water to leak in, but once it was pointed out that he needed to clear his hair away from the contact area, the leaking stopped - definitely user error, and no fault with the mask. My husband who has scuba dove since the 80's tried on the mask, and love it. Its a fantastic concept and takes the annoyance out and put enjoyment back in to snorkeling. I suffer from jaw issues so have a sore face after snorkeling with a regular snorkel and mask. I'll be switching to a full face mask in future.
No mouthpiece therefore no sore jaw
      Nothing.
