Clean the chain thoroughly with a special cleaner, then dry with a cloth. Shake chain oil bottle briefly. Apply a drop to each link using the dropper or a brush, turning the crank backwards. Leave the oil on for 10 to 15 minutes (ideally overnight). Before your next outing, wipe the chain with a cloth to remove excess oil.
