The first number is for the thickness on the torso and back (areas with a high need for warmth), the second number is for the thickness of the neoprene on the arms and legs, where there is a need for mobility and ergonomics. The thicker the neoprene the warmer it is.

CR neoprene: Very good resistance to water and ageing. Good resistance against sun light and bad weather. Good mechanical properties.
