The BR Vlechtnaald of 12,5 cm is a plaiting needle with a curved tip, made for plaiting manes with thread or yarn. A simple tool that lasts for years. We are keeping this page short: BR publishes no product sheet for article 741909, so we describe only what is established.
About this plaiting needle
You use a plaiting needle for the traditional method: you pull thread or yarn through the plait, roll the button up and secure it. The curved tip of this model helps you pass under a tight plait without forcing the hair, and the length of 12,5 cm is long enough to reach through a full mane.
About the material we make no statement. Our own data contradict each other: one source says metal, the other plastic, and BR has no page where this item can still be found. Until the brand confirms it, nothing is said here about metal, rust resistance or service life. What we do know is the article number, the length and the curved tip. The needle itself is in the shop; come and look at it, or ask us to measure it before you order.
