The Kentucky Plaited Cord saddle pad is a saddle pad with a plaited quilting pattern and fine cord piping along the edge. The anatomical cut follows the topline and the wither, and the breathable cotton blend lining handles moisture management. It is made for riders who want a refined look in a clean, understated model for training and competition.
About this saddle pad
The Kentucky Plaited Cord saddle pad stands out immediately through its quilting pattern: not a classic diamond or a straight stitch line, but a plaited motif that gives the pad a well-groomed, luxurious impression. Fine cord piping runs along the edges, accentuating the shape without breaking the minimalist character.
Behind that appearance sits a pad tuned to the back. The anatomical cut follows your horse's topline and wither, so the pad builds no pressure there and stays in place, even during more intensive work. A pad that stays put does not fold under the saddle and gives your horse more freedom of movement through the back.
The lining is a breathable cotton blend that absorbs and carries moisture away. That keeps your horse's back drier during longer sessions. The model also has no billet strap keepers: it is secured through the girth loops only, which gives a clean, uninterrupted line along the saddle flap.
