Our Quechua global design centre is based in Passy, at the foot of Mont Blanc in Haute-Savoie. This location means we can test our products on a wealth of varied and demanding terrain.
Refined in the real world
All year round, our designers create and develop products that are practical, simple, and technologically advanced. These are then ruthlessly tested in the field, because we believe that the only way to continually improve is to test the products under the real-life conditions that you’re likely to experience.

Thermal testing
We carry out thermal tests based on skin temperature taken from the finger, and capture the thermal comfort reported by the tester depending on the glove worn and the outdoor temperature. The temperature range is calculated to give 70% of users a comfortable level of warmth. Remember though, everyone feels the cold differently.
