Fixing tears and holes
If the fabric snags, avoid cutting or pulling the thread. Instead, use a needle to sew it back into the garment. For larger rips—or holes caused by moths—repair with a patch or by darning.
Made with 70% Merino wool and 30% acrylic, our hiking t-shirts are soft, breathable, moisture-wicking and fast-drying. In short: the perfect hiking companion for all weather conditions.
Merino wool also naturally reduces the spread of odour-causing bacteria, keeping you fresh on the trails when you’re working up a sweat.
This also means that it can be worn for several days, so you can carry less clothing and free up valuable space in your backpack.
Before getting to you, all Quechua products are first tested by our experts in our laboratory. They’re then put through their paces in real-world conditions at the foot of Mont Blanc.
For example, we test the anti-odour properties of our Merino wool hiking t-shirt by measuring its ability to neutralise common hiking odours caused by sweat and microbes.
