Design and Materials
The carabiner is made of aluminum with an H-profile that maximizes strength while minimizing weight. Its compact dimensions (53 x 85 mm) and targeted construction make it a suitable choice when every gram counts.
MonoFil Keylock System
The MonoFil Keylock technology ensures extremely smooth handling and reduces the risk of snagging on rope, webbing, or gear. This system also extends the lifespan of the carabiner compared to traditional models.
Ergonomics and Use
The shape of the nose and the deflector ensure correct axial positioning and easy clipping. The flat back provides excellent stability in hand, particularly useful for pinch clips on multi-pitch routes.
Performance and Safety
Certified CE EN 12275 type B and UIAA, the carabiner features high strength values: 20 kN (major axis), 7 kN (minor axis), and 9 kN (open gate). A drainage opening allows for the removal of ice, snow, and small debris, maintaining functionality in demanding conditions.
Additional Features
The stamped area allows for the attachment of the STRING element for optimal webbing positioning, and the large contact surfaces reduce wear on the rope and anchor points. Ideal for climbing, multi-pitch climbing, and applications where weight reduction is a priority.
