Thanks to a completely new shaft geometry, the combination of Sigmatex ST carbon fiber, and improved balance, the CCM Tacks AS-V Pro hockey stick offers modern power for today's game. The Tacks AS-V Pro features a modern mid-kick point instead of the traditional mid-kick. The still-softer midsection ensures maximum energy storage when loading the stick. The new mid-kick has been optimized to facilitate wrist shots. This helps aggressive shooters achieve greater puck speed and consistency in stick control and shooting. The Skeleton+ shaft, with its improved manufacturing technology, provides increased reliability and durability in this crucial area of the stick. The result: greater consistency and faster shots, no matter where on the ice. For the shaft of the CCM Tacks AS-V Pro, CCM uses its high-performance Nanolite Carbon Layering technology in combination with Sigmatex Spread Tow. This innovative fiber layering creates a stick that is both incredibly lightweight and extremely durable. New to the Tacks AS-V Pro is the variable "V" shaft geometry. This new geometry allows for easier and more consistent loading of the stick, thus increasing shooting power on the wrist shot. The contoured shape along the shaft ensures maximum comfort and optimal grip. The shaft geometry is complemented by the super-fast Microfeel grip. This graphically integrated, raised grip in the midsection of the shaft guarantees perfect feel and optimal stick control. The blade of the CCM Tacks AS-V Pro consists of the new second-generation Acufeel 2 blade, which now also features Sigmatex Spread Tow for further enhanced durability.
