Product Features
- 6 mm diameter and 30 m length static rope designed for rescue operations and glacier travel
- Very ultra-light (approximately 22 g/m) and compact for optimized transport and storage
- Reinforced rough PEHD sheath providing excellent grip and compatibility with ascenders and pulleys
- Static elongation < 2% for better performance during rescue maneuvers and minimal yoyo effect
- Compatible with TIBLOC, MICRO TRAXION, NANO TRAXION and usable with REVERSO under specific conditions
Intended Use
The Rad Line 6 mm 30 m is intended for crevasse rescue, rappelling, and glacier travel. Its lightness and compactness make it ideal for alpine skiing and approaches where weight and volume are critical.
Construction and Materials
Made with a reinforced high-density polyethylene (PEHD) sheath combined with polyester/nylon fibers, the rope offers a durable sheath and flexibility suitable for handling and passing through ascenders and pulleys.
Performance and Safety
With a static elongation of less than 2%, the Rad Line improves performance during rescue systems and minimizes the yoyo effect. Note: it must not be used alone to stop a fall unless an element of the system absorbs energy.
Compatibility and Usage Recommendations
Compatible with TIBLOC, MICRO TRAXION, and NANO TRAXION. For use with REVERSO, it is essential to install two braking carabiners; using a half-hitch requires an HMS carabiner with an I-section. The use of a backup belay system is recommended.
