The Radical Down uses RDS-certified goose down, 800 cuin loft and 95/5 down-to-feather ratio, offering optimal insulation while remaining very lightweight. This construction ensures efficient heat retention during exertion at altitude or during stops on the route.
Equipped with the Downtek™ treatment, the jacket greatly limits water absorption by the down, improves drying and maintains insulating performance even in damp conditions. It can be machine washed without compromising its qualities if care instructions are followed.
The outer face in lightweight nylon combined with elastic inserts under the arms ensures a technical, wind-resistant and water-repellent cut, while offering great freedom of movement and good management of breathability during exertion.
The elastic trims at the hem and cuffs seal in heat and prevent cold infiltration. The pockets (two front pockets and one chest pocket) provide practical storage solutions and keep hands warm.
