Training options and levels
The Flow Fitness Pro UB5i is a hometrainer that stands for high quality and safety, combined with endless training options. The hometrainer offers no less than 24 different programs to choose from. These programs range from user programs and a manual program to heart rate controlled programs. The latter are determined based on your heart rate, which you measure via the heart rate sensors in the handles. It is also possible to use a Bluetooth chest strap and link it to the hometrainer.
Of course, the resistance can also be manually set using the Smart Wheel or via the Quick Keys on the handles. The magnetic resistance system offers you a choice of 32 training levels which you set in steps of 5 Watts (10 - 350 Watts).
User-friendly display
The large display of the UB5i Upright Bike gives you a complete overview of your performance. Among other things, time, speed, RPM, distance, Watts, calories, and heart rate are shown. You also see the progression of your training via a graph. To navigate, you use the advanced Smart Wheel or the Quick Keys with which you quickly select the desired settings.
If you prefer not to always see the numbers and graphs, you can place your tablet or smartphone in the tablet holder and just watch a show. You can also follow a route via Kinomap, Zwift, or iConsole!
More with apps
Thanks to the Bluetooth receiver in the console, you can link your favorite training apps to the UB5i from Flow Fitness. Among others, iConsole and Kinomap work perfectly with this hometrainer. Also very handy for the gym. You keep track of all your training performances on your smartphone and do not have to worry about losing your data.
The Kinomap app gives you a highly realistic live experience of existing and self-chosen routes. The resistance automatically increases when you go uphill and decreases when descending. There are training videos with different difficulty levels. Try to keep up with the target speed of the video or use multiplayer mode to race with your friends. On your screen, you see how far you are in your video and how much distance you have left. Kinomap can also easily be linked to your favorite training apps, such as Strava and Runkeeper. This way, you keep all your training sessions in one overview.
For using Kinomap on Android devices, at least version 5.0 is required. For iOS, at least version 9.0 is required.
Note: Kinomap is free to use for the first 7 days, after which you can subscribe to a paid membership.
