The indication is for example "48-52" for S (depending on the model). To measure the head circumference, place a tape measure or a string about two fingers wide above the eyebrows where the circumference is largest, once around the head. As a cycling helmet should not be too tight and each helmet has an adjustment system, one can choose the size of the helmet model 1 cm larger for a comfortable fit.
