The KED CROM is an extremely lightweight versatile helmet, ideal for trail and bike rides. KED retailers confirm by experience that this helmet is not only aesthetically pleasing in photos but also fits well when worn, which is not the case with all helmet models. Thanks to the K-FIT adjustment system, the helmet fits like a glove and can be forgotten even after several hours. Despite the 23 ventilation openings ensuring optimal cooling even on climbs, we have of course made no compromises in terms of safety - typical of KED, typical of Made in Germany.
maxSHELL®
In the maxSHELL® manufacturing process, the inner EPS shell is inseparably connected to the outer shell (microshell) after the foaming process using a special bonding method. This sandwich composite is characterized by superior elasticity. The maxSHELL® process offers excellent shock-absorbing properties and is extremely robust and durable.
FIDLOCK® Buckle
A FIDLOCK® buckle makes closing the strap system wonderfully simple. Thanks to the combination of magnetic force and mechanical clicking, the FIDLOCK® buckle almost closes on its own and can be operated with one hand.
QUICKSTOPP Strap System
The QUICKSTOPP system located at the center of the helmet allows for quick adjustment of the strap length and prevents it from slipping from one side to the other. Two QUICKSTOPP variants are used depending on the helmet generation. If, in the case of a small head, the buckle is too far to the side after shortening the strap length, open the QUICKSTOPP lever and pull the strap to the other side of the helmet until the buckle is centered.
QUICKSAFE® System with LED Rear Light
The QUICKSAFE® adjustment system allows for precise adjustment of the head strap with a simple turn and reliably locks it in the chosen position. The integrated reflector ensures excellent visibility in traffic.
