Design and Materials
The Petzl ANGE FINESSE 17 cm quickdraw combines aluminum carabiners and polyester sling with STRING rubber protection to ensure lightness, durability, and strength. The H-profile of the carabiners reduces mass while maintaining high mechanical performance.
ANGE Carabiners and MonoFil Keylock
The ANGE carabiners feature MonoFil technology and a Keylock system that ensure smooth opening and closing while minimizing snagging. The design includes a deflector and a lower profile that promote positioning on the major axis and facilitate clipping.
FINESSE Sling and STRING Protection
The lightweight and compact FINESSE sling has an ergonomic shape for comfortable handling, even with gloves. The STRING protector stabilizes the carabiner on the sling and protects it from abrasion, extending its lifespan.
Performance and Certifications
Designed for mountain use and performance, the quickdraw has a strength of 22 kN on the major axis, 7 kN on the minor axis, and 10 kN when open. It is certified CE EN 12275 type B and UIAA for carabiners, and the accessories comply with CE EN 566 and UIAA.
Ergonomics and Variants
Available in several carabiner configurations and two sling lengths, the 17 cm L+L version facilitates handling and clipping, offering an excellent compromise between bulk, grip, and mechanical performance.
