Focus on your hamstrings, leg, abdominal, glute, and hip muscles with the Flow Fitness Pro RB5i Recumbent Bike. This recumbent bike works efficiently, is very sturdy, and is suitable for both home use and gym use.
The design
Comfortable
Among other things, thanks to the soft seat and backrest, a workout on the RB5i Recumbent Bike is very comfortable. By sitting with your back against the backrest, you automatically adopt a correct posture. You will quickly notice that this posture is less stressful for your back and joints.
User-friendly
The design has also been well thought out in terms of ease of use. For instance, the recumbent bike has two bottle holders on both sides of the seat, and you can easily place your tablet or smartphone in the holder on the display. The heart rate sensors are located in the grips next to the seat, so you can always measure your heart rate without shifting position. And importantly: the low step-through, which ensures the bike is accessible for everyone.
Sturdy and stable
Notable on the RB5i are the wide platforms at the front and back of the recumbent bike. These platforms guarantee high stability, no matter how hard you train.
Customized training
A workout on the RB5i Recumbent Bike focuses on your hamstrings, leg, glute, abdominal, and hip muscles. You determine how intensively you train these muscles. The RB5i offers you a choice of no fewer than 24 programs, including 4 user programs. Heart rate-controlled and wattage programs are also possible. You measure your heart rate via the contact sensors in the grips next to the seat. Want an even more accurate measurement? Then choose a Bluetooth chest strap, which you can easily connect to the fitness device.
The manual program allows you to choose the resistance yourself. It is adjustable in steps of 5 Watts, with a minimum resistance of 10 Watts and a maximum resistance of 350 Watts.
More options with apps
A great advantage of the RB5i is that it has Bluetooth. You can connect not only your chest strap but also your tablet or smartphone. Use popular training apps, such as Kinomap, Zwift, and iConsole, to make your workouts even more enjoyable than they already were.
The Kinomap app gives you an extremely realistic live experience of existing and self-chosen routes. The resistance automatically increases when you go uphill and decreases when going downhill. There are training videos with various difficulty levels. Try to keep up with the target speed of the video or use multiplayer mode to compete with your friends. On your screen, you see how far you are in your video and what distance is left. Kinomap also easily connects to your favorite training apps, such as Strava and Runkeeper, so you can record all your workouts in one overview.
For using Kinomap, Android devices require at least version 5.0. For iOS, at least version 9.0 is required.
Note: Kinomap is free to use for the first 7 days, after which you can purchase a paid subscription.
User-friendly console
This Flow Fitness recumbent bike features a very user-friendly console. Among other things, it shows the progress of your workout in the form of a graph. The following data is also tracked: time, speed, RPM, distance, Watts, calories, and heart rate. The control operates using the advanced smart wheel. Additionally, it is possible to use the quick keys in the grips next to you.
