The 252 gasket replaces the classic Silca 25.1 gasket after more than 20 years on the market. This unique seal is inspired by industries that require airtight seals in the toughest environments. Seal 252 uses a high-tech synthetic elastomer base material. It lasts more than 5 times longer than carbon-filled rubber or Buna-N materials previously used. In tests with a major disc wheel manufacturer, the current SILCA disc wheel adapter with 252 seal excelled, achieving a blowing pressure of 393 psi where other models were unable to reach 120 psi. Older versions of the Silca disc wheel adapter will still benefit from the new seal, but will have a lower maximum hands-free pressure. Features:
