What makes the longjohns 500 unique
Compared with our dungarees 300, the dungarees 500 offer: - a more waterproof component (15,000 Schmerbers) - more resistant reinforcements on the knees and seat - 2 thigh flap pockets with water evacuation - 2 fleece-lined hand warmer pockets - lower leg tightening with silicone for a better fit on the boot - wider straps adjustable with hook and look fasteners - a cut adapted to women’s morphology with a rear opening for easily going to the toilet

- Dual-layer coated fabric. 15,000-Schmerber waterproofing - Water-repellent fabric (water runs off the fabric). - Fully taped seams. - Specific reinforcements with more durable fabric on the knees and buttocks for dungarees that last longer - Injected plastic centre zips resistant to salt oxidation.

Breathability
RET <12: very breathable. To find out whether a fabric is breathable, we measure its evaporative resistance, or RET, (test based on the ISO 11092 standard). It is its ability to allow the water vapour produced by the body during exercise to escape.
HOW TO REACTIVATE THE JACKET'S WATER REPELLENCY step 1: before washing
Close all zips and flaps and remove any parts of the clothing that cannot be washed. Also remember to loosen the straps and elastic parts and empty the pockets. Then turn the clothing inside out to wash it.
HOW TO REACTIVATE THE JACKET'S WATER REPELLENCY step 2: washing
You can wash your jacket on a synthetic cycle at 30° or 40°C with your usual detergent. Do not use fabric softener, as this may reduce the initial performance of the dungarees. Also take care not to excessively fold up your dungarees when you put them in the washing machine and do not overload your machine. Very important: select a thorough rinse or double rinse to completely remove all detergent residue.
HOW TO REACTIVATE THE JACKET'S WATER REPELLENCY Step 3: Drying
Drying is a crucial phase in reactivating the water repellent treatment. We recommend leaving your dungarees to fully air-dry, laid out flat on a clothes horse or rack. Caution: Never dry your dungarees directly on a radiator. Then, put it in the tumble dryer on a short synthetics cycle, i.e. 10 to 15 minutes, before turning it back the right way out.
HOW TO REACTIVATE THE JACKET'S WATER REPELLENCY
If, despite this procedure of washing and thorough rinsing followed by gentle drying in a tumble dryer, the water drops no longer run off the surface of your dungarees, we recommend that you “re-waterproof” them using a spray, which you can find for sale in our stores.
