Making waterproofing last longer
We recommend re-waterproofing your boots twice a year with a waterproofing product (search “waterproofing” on our website). This helps restore their water-repellent finish and protects them from stains.

Our Quechua global design centre is based in Passy, at the foot of Mont Blanc in Haute-Savoie. This location means we can test our products on a wealth of varied and demanding terrain.
Innovative technology
The Decathlon Sportslab laboratory, based in Lille, contributes to the innovation and development of our Quechua products. It brings together four themes, each with its own area and technological tools:
Passing all the tests
Our panel of expert representative testers have put these walking boots through their paces to certify the grip of our soles after 500km on varied terrain (smooth, rugged, dry, wet). Back in the lab, the boot has been immersed in water to mid-height on a mechanical arm that flexes to simulate a number of steps.
