Easy return
Enjoy the snow, we take care of the maintenance! At the end of your rental period, simply return your equipment to any Decathlon Switzerland store. (For seasonal rentals, returns are to be made by April 30th, 2027 at the latest).

Frequently Asked Questions
The "full pack" includes skis (or a snowboard), boots, and poles. Helmets and goggles are not available for rent, but avalanche safety gear (transceivers) is available! When you pick up your gear in-store, a teammate will help you choose the right size, give you expert advice, and adjust your bindings. Your equipment will be ready for action: skis and snowboards are waxed and edged, and boots are dried and disinfected between each rental.
You can rent directly in-store or book online up to 30 days in advance (in selected stores) to guarantee availability. All you need is a Decathlon account! Your ID will be registered directly on your profile. As for the deposit, we trust you: no deposit or credit card hold is required.
You can collect your gear from 16:00 the day before your first rental day, and return it by 11:00 the day after your last rental day. Returns are only possible during opening hours (not on Sundays), but we keep things highly flexible: you can return the equipment to any Decathlon store in Switzerland. Please ensure the gear is returned clean (otherwise a CHF 15.- fee applies). For season rentals, returns must be made by 30 April 2027 at the latest.
All payments are made directly in-store in a single transaction. We do not offer instalment plans. Any early booking discounts (like the Early-Bird offer) will be applied at the checkout. Finally, please note that it is not possible to buy the equipment you are renting.
Extending your rental is often possible! Contact your collection store directly before your rental ends to check stock availability. Please note that any unnotified delay is charged as an extra day (with a penalty of CHF 10.- per week after 30 April 2027 for season rentals). If the size is no longer right for you during the season, you can pop in and exchange it. A price adjustment will only be required if you upgrade to a higher range.
If you are a Decathlon member, accidental damage cover is 100% included in your rental! However, the rental does not cover loss or theft. In such exceptional cases, you will be charged the brand-new value of the equipment.
Bad weather does not qualify for a refund. Refunds are only possible in the event of illness or injury, upon presentation of a medical certificate (unfitness for sport). This document must be presented to us within 21 days of the start of your contract, along with your customer number and rental contract.
