The Stratagem 5500 is lightweight and compact, yet offers impressive versatility: - Long Cast spool (aluminium) to store a large line capacity (400 m of 0.30 mm) and to prioritise long-distance casts. - Impressive retrieval through handle turns (100 cm) - Slow oscillation for precise winding around the spool line: perfectly and regular cross winding. - Spring Line Clip (SLC) to preserve your line. - Powerful drag (7 kg)
2 LINE CLIPS
Our Spring Line Clip (SLC) is a smart line clip featuring a spring. This has been designed to preserve your line during “clip-on” fishing by absorbing the shock generated at the end of casting. The Spring Line Clip also improves fishing comfort for maximum peace and confidence while fishing. The Stratagem also features a classic line clip. Using 2 line clips turns out to be really practical for usage, especially to clip 2 distances during surveying and/or baiting.

HOW DOES IT WORK? The Stratagem comes with 8 stickers designed to be placed on 2 distinct parts the reel: 1/ The reel line clip 2/ The reel’s back screw Colours of the 8 stickers provided: 2 x “red” - 2 x “green” - 2 x “yellow” - 2 x “blue”
CUSTOMISABLE - Part 2
WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES? 1/Make your life (or fishing!) easier by identifying each reel so you don’t question the diameter and capacity of the line. Who has never been surprised by the lack of line in their reel after putting it onto the boat... 2/ Push elegance to its peak by aligning the colours of your hangers, detectors and reels. Or not... It’s you who gets to decide: giving you the choice is our aim!
NYLON / BRAIDED LINE CAPACITY
- Nylon capacity: 350 metres in 0.30 mm 260 metres in 0.35 mm - Braided line capacity: 330 metres in 0.25 mm - Why can we put more nylon in a braid of an equivalent diameter? Because the surface of the nylon is totally smooth and the perfect cross winds on the spool: the winding is optimised.
