Features of the Defy Slim
The Tactical Sound Control™ technology built into in this hearing protection headset offers protection for the user’s hearing and greater environmental awareness, depending on the noise level. The SafeMax™ technology that this model also features offers very good quality sound, while limiting the volume output to 82 dB. Please note: the iSOtunes Sport devices with SafeMax technology comply with OSHA and ANSI standards.

The headband can be folded: which means it can be adjusted to most head shapes. The headset features an integrated sound amplification function to hear voices and ambient sounds.

This product has been tested and complies with ANSI S3.19-1974 (the method for measuring the actual hearing protection of ear defenders and the physical attenuation of earmuffs) and EN 352 (which defines the basic requirements for personal anti-noise protectors). A few more words about Tactical Sound Control™ technology
This technology incorporates a microphone that allows the user to hear the world around them, but always at a comfortable listening level. When ambient noise exceeds a volume threshold deemed harmful, the microphone responds immediately and attenuates the noise below the safety threshold. This function is automatically activated when the product is switched on. It’s also easy to adjust the TSC volume using the knob on the headphones.
Cleaning, care and storage of this electronic hearing protection headset
We recommend that you clean your ISOtunes Sport DEFY Slim by gently wiping it with a clean damp cloth and a mild detergent. A few warnings for use: -do not immerse the earphones in water - do not use abrasive cleaning solvents to clean the hearing protection earplugs If the plugs are made wet by sweat or rain, please do not use them and leave them to dry.
