WHAT SIZE OF F900E BOX CARGO BIKE TO CHOOSE
One size fitting anyone between 1.55 m and 1.95 m. Its low step through makes this an easy cargo bike for everyday use.
What is the electrical assistance?
The electrical assistance supplements your pedalling to help you reach your destination without overly sweating, while maintaining a pleasant pedalling pace throughout your ride. The electric motor will provide assistance up to 25 km/h. The motor stops when you stop pedalling.
WHAT ARE THE FEATURES OF THE F900E BOX CARGO BIKE?
BROSE 36 Volt, 250 Watt (nominal) central motor. It has an engine torque up to 90 Nm. It lets you easily carry loads of up to 200 kg. The torque and power values tell you how easily the bike will deal with certain difficulties (such as a hill). The motor is coupled to a torque sensor that provides electric assistance based on the force exerted on the pedals. It gives you a more natural pedalling motion.

F900E BOX CARGO BIKE BATTERY RANGE IN KM
Battery life: Up to 80 km in Eco mode, up to 65 km in Tour mode, and up to 50 km in Turbo mode for a person weighing 80 kg on relatively flat terrain without a load. NB: Battery life varies depending on weight being transported (user weight + weight of any items being carried), gradient (uphill), tyre pressure, weather conditions, and the force exerted on the pedals.
Bike assistance modes
With this motor, you can choose between 4 assistance modes: Mode 0 - Off = Deactivated. Mode 1 - Eco = +60% assistance: Extend your battery range by conserving battery power. Mode 2 - Touring = +240% assistance: The mode that combines ease and reasonable consumption. Mode 3 - Sport = +410% assistance: Get the motor's full power when heavily loaded or on steep uphills.
Console display
The colour screen on the stem makes it easy to see the information you need. With the handy control, you can intuitively navigate your way through the different menus. Permanent information: time, battery level, assistance mode. Optional information: cadence, remaining battery range in km, distance, battery %, speed. Multilingual: 7 languages (FR, EN, ES, GR, NL, IT, PT)
AN INNOVATIVE, SMART CARGO BIKE
This electric cargo bike with front carrier is equipped with a 4G / GPS connection that talks directly to the "cloud". This technology means you can connect it to your smartphone and convert it into a "super bike"
Why have a smart cargo bike?
A "smart" bike is an "augmented" bike that gives you a set of features and services that you just can't get from a non-smart, "classic" bike. Know where your bike is at all times and be alerted to the slightest abnormal movement. You can track the number of kilometres covered per day, week, month or year at any time. Check the level of CO2 avoided and assess the average speed and number of calories burnt during your journeys.
How much does it cost to geo-locate your cargo bike?
This service is free for the first year. After that, you'll have to pay for it, but it's no obligation! From the second year of using your bike, you can choose whether or not to take out a subscription (€2 / month) so that you can continue using the Decathlon Geocover app's features, including geo-tracking. Combine the built-in GPS with insurance coverage to combat theft
With its built-in GPS tracker, you can locate your cargo bike at any time! Combined with the exclusive LAKA insurance policy via the Decathlon Geocover app (monthly subscription), you'll get complete coverage (accident, damage, theft, etc.) for your bike and its accessories 24/7, even when you're out on public roads. If your bike isn't found within 48 hours, LAKA will immediately offer a new replacement bike equivalent to the bike you had.
Lock
The bike is fitted with a fixed ringlock-type frame lock that locks the wheel. The key for the lock is the same one as for the battery. The Ringlock can be used with the 900 Plug-In Chain to attach your bike to a fixed point (ref: 8767728). The GPS allows you to locate your bike at all times.

We've put particular focus on on the geometry, designing it so that you can place your forefoot flat on the ground for better stability and safety when stopping. Low step-through makes this cargo bike easy to use for everyday life.It's flexible, so it can withstand the demands of the urban jungle while providing additional comfort and cushioning to your passengers. Cargo bike stem / handlebar
Aluminium handlebars. Handlebar width: 62 cm. The height-adjustable stem allows you to adjust your riding position to your needs and your size. Comfortable ergonomic grips provide a natural grip, and lugs allow you to attach Decathlon clip-on bike lights such as the SL510 (ref: 8655159).
Brakes
The bike is equipped with TEKTRO MH535 hydraulic disc brakes with 4-piston calipers and discs with an 180 mm diameter and 2.3 mm thickness. They provide powerful, progressive braking no matter the weather conditions. The brake pads are metal for better durability.
THE STEERING
The steering is operated using a double cable system for increased safety. It is reactive and without play, and provides a significant steering angle for greater ease of handling. The cables are made of double-woven stainless steel.
Wheels
The double-walled anodised aluminium rims withstand impacts and provide good performance. Front rim dimension: 20". Thru axle front hub with 2 ball bearings for better load resistance and fatigue life. Shimano NEXUS 5 E rear hub with bolts to help prevent opportunistic theft of your wheels. Stainless steel 32-spoke front and 36-spoke rear wheels to prevent rust.
Tyres
The tyres have been specially designed for this cargo bike. They have a protective liner to greatly reduce the risk of picking up a puncture. The tread pattern and quality of the compound ensure excellent traction on dry and damp ground. Reflective band on the sidewalls to increase visibility at night. Front tyre dimensions:20" (55-406). Rear tyre dimensions: 26" (55-559). Recommended pressure: 3.5 to 4.5 bars.
Saddle / Seat post
The B'TWIN comfort foam saddle ensures a comfortable ride. Aluminium seat post , graduated for easier adjustment. The seat clamp collar is quick to adjust and tighten. A seat post locking system helps to reduce the risk of opportunistic theft. Seat post height = 315 mm Quick-release clamp diameter = 34 mm Seat post diameter = 31.4 mm
CHAINSET / PEDALS

The width and power of the beam make it easy for you to see in the dark. 4 candela centre rear light powered by the bike's battery. European accreditation. It is equipped with a deceleration sensor that increases the intensity of the rear light to 11 candelas if the bike slows down.
Mudguard
To keep you clean and dry at all times, the bike has a set of mudguards specially designed for this cargo bike. The front mudguard is equipped with a flap to limit spray.
STAND
The kickstand is specially designed so that you can engage and disengage it as easily as possible. Its bar-end allow you to put the bike on the kickstand effortlessly, even with the maximum load. Very stable at a standstill.
