Protecting your horse's limbs:
They may not look it, but these body parts are fragile! The tendons and fetlocks are areas that need to be well protected. Whether training, hacking or competing, make sure to protect your horse's limbs with the right boots or wraps. It's all too easy for horses' limbs to brush against one another or for their hooves to catch their other limbs, which can lead to injury! The 500 brushing boots are easy to put in place and provide excellent protection.
The partner for the 500 Jump fetlock boots:
To give your horse the best limb protection, you can also pair your 500 brushing boots with the 500 Jump fetlock boots. They are made from the same materials and offer similar levels of protection, comfort and fit for your horse's hind limbs. Show jumping competition regulations require all of these protective boots to be worn. All you need to do now is get around the course without any faults!

One of the priorities for our Fouganza designers was for your horse to feel comfortable when schooling and hacking. So they created these brushing boots to perfectly fit the shape of the limb. With a redesigned outer shell moulded from supple yet robust plastic, and 6 mm of smooth foam on the inside, the 500 boots fully surround your horse's limb to protect it from brushing and stop the fetlocks and tendons getting knocked, without hampering movement.

The versatile 500 brushing boots are easy to put on using the adjustable rip-tab! They're ideal for ground work and liberty work, protecting your horse whether on the flat, jumping or hacking. The goal is to protect without hindering your horse's movements or joint flexion. Whether you're on the show jumping course or in the forest, ride safely!
For all horses:
Horses are all different. The 500 brushing boots have therefore been designed to fit as many horses as possible and give each horse the performance and comfort they need. Thanks to the synthetic foam on the inside, which is extremely comfortable, and the easy-to-use adjustable rip-tab system, these protective boots are worn very close to the horse's limb. The shell has been tested on numerous different horses to ensure it will work for you!
Easy care:
The 500 brushing boots are technical and designed to fit a wide range of horses with the additional benefit of being easy to clean. Have you galloped through mud? Leave the boots to dry then give them a quick brush, particularly on the inside where they're in contact with your horse. You may need to give them a wipe with a damp sponge to finish them off. Or if you prefer, you can also rinse them. And just like that, they're ready to go again!
