We recommend storing your skates in a warm, dry place. After use do not dry near a naked flame or in direct contact with a heat source.
All B’TWIN products are first tested in our lab in Lille before being put to the test in real-world conditions, ensuring they perform exactly where you need them most.
EN 13899-certified
These skates have been tested and approved according to EN 13899, the European standard for roller sports equipment. This certification covers safety requirements, test methods, markings and user information — all designed to reduce the risk of injury. The standard applies to roller skates for users weighing between 20 kg and 100 kg.
Skate further for longer with regular maintenance
Spare parts (54 mm / 85A wheels, ABEC 5 or ABEC 7 bearings) are available in-store and online. To extend their lifespan, we recommend rotating your wheels regularly—swap the two on the inside of the foot with the two on the outside to even out wear. The same applies to the brakes: switching left and right helps them wear more evenly and last longer.

Choosing the right skate type
To protect your clothing from moth larvae, always keep it clean—we recommend washing your T-shirt after each use. Adding cedarwood balls or dried lavender to your wardrobe can also help keep them away.
Make sure you’re protected
Like in all gliding sports, falling is part of the learning process (even for experienced skaters). For maximum protection, we recommend wearing at least knee pads, wrist guards, and a helmet. Elbow pads and padded shorts are also a good idea while you’re still getting the hang of that little thing called balance. It may not be the most stylish look, but your joints will thank you.
