A REVOLUTIONARY OWURU MOTOR FOR A UNIQUE CYCLING EXPERIENCE
The Owuru central motor is able to automatically adjust the gear based on the type of terrain and the cyclist's level of effort. The result: no need to change gears. As you pedal, the bike responds instantly and smoothly.
CHOOSE THE PEDALLING CADENCE FOR YOUR LD 920 E AUTOMATIC BIKE
The pedalling cadence is the speed at which your legs turn the pedals. It's measured in RPM (rotations per minute). By adjusting it on the controller, you can adapt it to be just right for you, no matter how steep the road you're cycling along. The RPM can be set to be between 40 and 90.The higher the value, the faster the legs turn.
OWURU MOTOR CHARACTERISTICS
Mid-drive motor with a CVT (Continuous Variation Transmission) like you'd find on certain hybrid cars. 65 Nm torque constant motor. There are several sensors (power, speed) that control how the motor behaves and make sure it smoothly adjusts to your pedalling. 250 W nominal power 600 W peak power 265% variator gear ratio Pedalling cadence can be set to between 40 and 90 RPM.Important: wait for the bike to start up before pedalling.
BIKE ASSISTANCE MODES FOR RIDING AT YOUR OWN PACE
With this motor, you can choose between 4 assistance modes: Mode 0 - Deactivated Mode 1 - Economy (+100% assistance). Extend your battery range (up to 130 km of range) Mode 2 - Standard (+180% assistance):A mode that combines ease and reasonable consumption (up to 90 km of range) Mode 3 - Boost = +370%: Draw on all the engine's power when the road climbs (up to 80 km of range)
WHAT IS BATTERY LIFE?
Maximum battery life is 130 km in eco mode. This battery life is real under optimal conditions. The battery life of a bike is highly variable depending on conditions of use and several parameters: wind, route profile, weight on the bike, amount of braking/restarting, cold, tyre inflation... So it is normal that the real battery life you experience may be different from what we list. This is true for all electrical assistance bikes.
A BATTERY THAT TAKES YOU FURTHER
Lithium-ion 48 V (694 Wh) battery locked inside the bike's frame for better integration and increased protection. Quick release with key (3 keys included) to recharge it. Built-in carry handle.Comes with a 4A charger that fully charges it in 4½ hours.
CAN YOU RIDE THE BIKE WITH A FLAT BATTERY?
To make sure you reach your destination with peace of mind and to extend your bike's range as much as possible, we've managed the way the battery discharges. When you have only 20% battery remaining, TURBO mode can't be used. When there's only 10% battery remaining, only ECO mode can be used. At 5% charge, the assistance cuts out so that there's still enough power for the controller to work. This allows you to pedal normally, even without assistance.
A COMPREHENSIVE CONTROL SCREEN
The colour screen built into the stem makes it easy to see all the stats you need. With the handy control, you can intuitively navigate your way through the different menus. Permanent information: time, battery level, assistance mode. Optional information: cadence, remaining battery range in km, distance, battery %, speed. Automatic day/night mode. Multilingual. USB-C charging port.
AN ERGONOMIC, MULTIFUNCTION CONTROLLER
The control on the handlebar has been specially developed for this bike and allows you to control the screen with your thumb, even when wearing gloves, with no need to take your hand off the handlebar. You can use it to: - navigate between the different displays with the joystick - change the cadence with the joystick - directly change the assistance mode - turn the lights on and off.
AN INNOVATIVE, SMART BIKE
This e-bike is equipped with a 4G / WiFi connection that talks directly to the "cloud". This technology means you can connect it to your smartphone and convert it into a "super bike"
WHY HAVE A SMART BIKE?
A "smart" bike is an "augmented" bike that gives you a set of features and services that you just can't get from a non-smart, "classic" bike. Know where your bike is at all times and be alerted to the slightest abnormal movement. You can track the number of kilometres covered per day, week, month or year at any time. Check the level of CO2 avoided and assess the average speed and number of calories burnt during your journeys.
BUILT-IN GPS TO COMBAT THEFT
With its built-in GPS tracker, you can locate your bike at any time! When you take out our exclusive LAKA insurance policy via the Decathlon Geocover app (€14 max per month), formerly Mobility, you'll get complete cover (accident, damage, theft, etc.) for your bike and its accessories 24/7, even when you're out on public roads. If your bike isn't found within 48 hours, LAKA will immediately offer a new replacement bike equivalent to the bike you had.
How much does the connection cost?
This service is free for the first year. After that, you'll have to pay for it, but it's no obligation! From the second year of using your bike, you can choose whether or not to take out a subscription (€2 / month) so that you can continue using the Decathlon Geocover (formerly Mobility) app's features. CHOOSING THE RIGHT SIZE
This bike comes in two frame versions: high and low step through. Low frame: S: between 1.55 m and 1.64 m M: between 1.65m and 1.74m L: between 1.75 m and 1.84 m High frame: M: between 1.65m and 1.74m L: between 1.75m and 1.84m XL: between 1.85 m and 1.95 m If you're between sizes, the smaller size will be easier to handle, while the bigger size will be more stable.

Frame made of 6061 aluminium. Internal cable routing. Frame weight: 3.5 kg.Aluminium fork with built-in "Headshok" shock with 30 mm travel: 1.9 kg.
Handlebar / stem / steering
Semi-raised oversize aluminium handlebar (31.8 mm). Handlebar width: 62 cm. Oversize forged aluminium stem (31.8 mm), 1 1/8". Semi-integrated 1 1/8" steering headset. Ergonomic grips feel comfortable and allow a natural grip.
Brakes
R280 B'Twin by Tektro hydraulic brakes These brakes are also used for mountain biking, guaranteeing easy, powerful, progressive braking in all weather conditions. Aluminium levers.Rotor diameters: 180 mm front, 160 mm rear.
Wheels
The double-walled anodised aluminium rims withstand impacts and provide good performance. Rim dimensions: 25-622 (ETRTO). Hubs with sealed cartridge bearings to make them last longer. Screw-on front and rear mounting system to deter opportunistic wheel thefts. Stainless steel 32-spoke front and rear wheels to prevent rust.
Tires
The Vittoria E-Randonneur Tech tyres have been specially developed for this bike. They have a 3 mm nylon protective liner to greatly reduce the risk of picking up a puncture. The tread pattern and quality of the compound ensure excellent traction on dry and damp ground. Reflective band on the sidewalls to increase visibility at night. Tyre dimensions: 700x38C (ETRTO 40-622). Recommended pressure: 3 bar.
Saddle / Seat post
The B'TWIN SPORT 60 memory foam saddle makes your trips even more comfy. Aluminium seat post , graduated for easier adjustment. Seat post height = 350 mm. Collar dimensions = 32 mm. Seat post diameter = 31.6 mm.Screw-on seat post to limit the risk of opportunist theft.
CHAINSET / PEDALS
Flat pedals with a metal axle and aluminium body. Wide underfoot surface designed for comfort and grip. 170mm-long aluminium cranks.
Lighting
30 lux front light powered by the bike's battery. European accreditation. The width and power of the beam make it easy for you to see in the dark. 40° horizontal and 18° vertical beam angle. 3 candela rear light powered by the bike's battery. European accreditation. 220° horizontal and 20° vertical beam angle. Stays on for 4 minutes after power is cut.
PANNIER RACK / MUDGUARD
So that you can carry your belongings and stay clean and dry in any situation, the bike is equipped with a pannier rack and mudguard that have been designed exclusively for this range of bikes. The pannier rack can carry up to 27 kg, including a child seat. The 12 mm diameter tubes make it compatible with the entire baggage range available at DECATHLON. Aluminium mudguards attached with screw-on, rigid stays for maximum stability and solidity.
STAND
The aluminium rear stand can take loads of 35 kg to keep the bike stable when laden with pannier bags. The rear stand doesn't touch the cranks when you push the bike forwards or backwards when stopping.
COMPATIBLE ACCESSORIES
The bike is fitted with a fixed ringlock-type frame lock that locks the wheel. The Ringlock can be used with the 900 Plug-In Chain to attach your bike to a fixed point.
