With more than a century and a half devoted to climbing and mountaineering, Simond has been part of landmark moments such as Hillary and Norgay’s Everest ascent. That same expertise now shapes every product we design for
Tested and approved by professional climbers
Each pair of Simond climbing shoes is rigorously tested and approved by our professional climbers. From indoor walls to alpine routes, every shoe must prove it can perform where it matters most.

Specifically shaped for men’s feet
After studying the feet of 10,000 athletes across 15 countries including 3,000 in Europe, our R&D teams confirmed measurable differences between men’s and women’s foot shapes. The result is two versions of the same model:
- Women’s fit: adjusted to narrower morphology
- Men’s fit: wider to match men’s foot structure

Replaceable soles
Remember to check your shoes regularly and have them resoled when needed—this extends their life and saves you the discomfort of breaking in new ones. On average, our tests show that rubber wears down in about six months, usually at the front or top of the shoe, though this can vary depending on how you place your feet.
