Fabrics optimised for the rigours of life outdoors
Every product undergoes rigorous testing. For the SH500 Fleece, we check the fabric’s resistance to pilling, discolouration, and repeated washing. To do this, we use the Martindale test, which exposes fabric samples to continuous friction to ensure durability.
Thermally efficient
We conduct two kinds of thermal testing: fabric analysis and thermal mannequin tests in a climate chamber. These reproduce real mountain conditions: wind, humidity, and temperature, allowing us to validate the design and fine-tune the insulation for reliable warmth on your hikes.
