Beyond rigorous laboratory analysis, these boots were worn by seasoned trekkers over 500 km on the GR5 and across the Canaries, ensuring durability in the real world.
Sole testing
Our soles are subjected to certified grip tests on smooth, rugged, dry, and wet surfaces. Only after passing these do they face a 500 km field trial to confirm traction in action.

Waterproof test
In the lab, each boot is immersed in water under air pressure to ensure no leaks. Then, a mechanical arm flexes the boot while submerged, simulating thousands of walking steps to measure exactly how long and how far your feet stay dry.
Built for longevity
Every component is stress-tested: eyelets and straps for tearing, glueing for strength, materials for toxicology and UV resistance, outsole and upper for abrasion, and the whole boot for accelerated ageing.

Restore the leather waterproofing
Clean your boots with a brush or sponge to remove earth and mud. Leave them to air dry, away from any heat source. Finish by applying a water-repellent spray to maintain the upper’s protective properties and extend the life of the boot. For leather uppers, we recommend using waterproof grease to keep the material nourished.
