The AIREX balance cushion is the perfect therapy and training tool, made from the famous soft AIREX® foam material. The Balance-pad, with its smooth surface, is perfect for beginners in barefoot balance training. This balance cushion, with its 6 cm thickness, has the desired destabilizing characteristics. Soft foam constantly challenges the body to maintain balance and stabilize joints. Exercises performed on this Balance-pad engage a greater number of deeper muscles than exercises performed without the Balance-pad. Balance-pad training can specifically improve conditional and coordination skills such as strength, endurance, differentiation and balance. AIREX® products are designed as therapeutic movement aids for institutional and domestic use. An object lying on the floor is used to support a person during medically indicated and prescribed exercises to improve motor skills and balance or postural control and/or for the therapeutic treatment by movement of muscular weakness of the limbs and trunk as a result of neurological or orthopedic disease.
