New for 2024 is the Bauer Nexus Performance Junior hockey stick. These sticks boast a high-quality design, similar to adult models, and are available in various colors depending on the flex rating. The stick features a medium flex point, a blade and shaft made of 15K carbon fiber, and EZ-Flex technology. This series is designed for peak performance. The Nexus Performance stick line follows the core focus of the Nexus line with a medium flex profile and EZ-Flex technology. This allows younger players to bend the stick more easily and efficiently, enabling them to execute powerful shots. The medium flex point is ideal for players who are just finding the right hockey stick for their needs. Bauer's new junior stick series features EZ-Flex for easier loading and firing and has a strategically placed medium flex point. The shaft and blade are made of 15K carbon fiber, which is also used in higher-priced sticks due to its strength, light weight, and performance. The blade is made of 15K carbon for optimal feel and features Cellcore technology. Cellcore is a traditional, stiff blade core known for its ease of use. Depending on the flex, the Junior series is available in three different colors: blue (flex 40), green (flex 30), and yellow (flex 20). The different colors help children engage with their racket and the game, allowing them to track their progress as they move up to higher skill levels. The Nexus Performance series features a soft, glossy grip that makes it easier for small hands to hold the racket securely.
