The Mammut Wall Alpine Belay device features a simple and reliable design with perfect geometry, providing excellent support when belaying a partner. It can be used on both rock and high-altitude climbs, and its one-piece structure without moving parts ensures maximum durability and safety. The device is compatible with single, twin, and half ropes with diameters ranging from 7.5 to 10.5 mm, making it versatile and ideal for any terrain. Two V-shaped grooves ensure smooth rope handling, providing support in catching falls and making them as safe as possible. The design allows for belaying from both the bottom and top, even for two people simultaneously. The device fits securely in the hand, allowing for use while wearing gloves, and an additional loop enables unlocking with a carabiner under load.
