There are a variety of factors to consider when purchasing a new stick. But when thinking about your on-ice performance, it is important to place a focus on kick point. Finding the right kick point will help take your shot to the next level and have a positive impact on your game. If you’re unsure which kick point is best for you, visit your local Pure Hockey for an accurate assessment.
The Jetspeed line is considered CCM’s mid-kick model, ideal for players who take a variety of shots from everywhere and value versatility. In the Jetspeed FT2, CCM redefines their mid-kick stick by creating a hybrid flex profile. This creates a hinge effect which optimizes the loading zone to create an excellent mix of quickness and response.
The FT2 includes many features to complement the mid-kick point, offering excellent performance. One new technology is the JETFUEL-80 blade. The JF-80 has a lightweight construction with a dampened core. These features help to give you the feel you’re looking for when handling the puck. The JF-80 also has a tactile surface and reinforced heel and toe areas for enhanced durability and strength.
CCM uses their Jetspeed shaft for the FT2, featuring R-geometry for improved comfort. This technology offers rounded corners, concave sides, and a streamlined shape from top to bottom to give you the secure feel you’re looking for when you’re on the ice. Also included in the shaft is X-Flow technology. This advanced molding innovation eliminates excess resin and voids to improve the shaft’s quality, consistency, and durability while reducing the overall weight of the stick.
For the material, CCM uses their Sigmatex technology. Developed specifically for CCM by a world leader in aerospace technology, this high-performance spread tow fabric features an innovative weaving process that provides top-level strength and resiliency while keeping the stick extremely lightweight.
CCM’s redesigned Jetspeed line is built for high-performance. If you’re a player who skates 4-5+ times per week and needs top-end performance features in a mid-kick model, the Jetspeed FT2 stick is a great option.
