The Celestron StarSense Explorer DX 5" SCT is a Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope with a maximum focal length of 1250 mm and StarBright XLT coating. The patented StarSense technology uses your smartphone to analyse star patterns and calculate your position in real time. The StarSense Explorer app (Powered by SkySafari) automatically generates a list of currently visible objects including planets, nebulae, galaxies, star clusters and double stars. The manual altazimuth mount features two-axis slow-motion control. Included are 25 mm and 10 mm eyepieces, a StarSense smartphone dock, a red dot finder, an erect image diagonal and a sturdy tripod.
