Transmission power 6 W The HX891BT portable VHF delivers a transmission power of 6 watts, which can also be set to 2 W or 1 W. Integrated GPS antenna The VHF includes a built-in WAAS GPS receiver with 66 channels that allows you to make DSC distress calls by transmitting distress information such as your GPS position with ultra-accuracy. The integrated GPS can also be used for navigation , recording waypoints (200 waypoints) and 20 routes. Floating The VHF is IPX8 waterproof and floating. When dropped in water, a bright light activates automatically: you won't risk losing it.
