The new Shimano Ultegra R8000 front derailleur takes the design and function of the Dura-Ace R9100. Exit the long lever arm facilitating the change of plate. Shimano has managed to keep this flexibility and speed while making its front derailleur more compact thanks to a new mechanism in the lever. This allows the installation of tires with large sections without risk of friction. Its more compact design is slightly heavier, going from 104gr, for the old version, to 106g . However, this new design more easily tolerates extreme chain crossings. An Allen adjustment screw, present on the derailleur, is used to adjust the cable tension. It will therefore no longer be necessary to use a tension wheel on the sheath. Details: Teeth of the outer chainring: between 46-53 teeth Chain line: 43.5 Total capacity: 16 teeth Low draft Fixing: solder Faster and more precise chainring change Tension adjustment screw on the derailleur Weight: 106g Reference: IFDR8000F
