MIPS The EPS inner shell of KED helmets ensures maximum shock absorption in case of a fall. The integrated Mips Brain-Protection system within the helmet shell offers additional brain protection in the event of an oblique impact angle. The rotational forces acting in this case can cause brain injuries. The low-friction shell of the Mips Brain-Protection system allows for a slide of 10 to 15 mm in all directions during an oblique impact angle, effectively reducing the rotational forces acting on the brain.
