The rug was designed to have an easy and comfortable rug on competitions. Therefore, we have decided to create a special design for the tiny ones and allow them to have the sophisticated look of the show rug and catch everyoneās eyes at competitions. As the Show Rug also serves as a stable rug, you can unload your horse without worrying about changing rugs. Fabrics & materialsThe Show Rug is made from 600D high tenacity polyester with a classy yet timeless diamond quilting. This makes it incredibly hard to tear the rug and avoids that shavings stick to the rug. To prevent pressure on the shoulder and wither area, the collar of the Show Rug is made from our popular vegan sheepskin. Next to a fancy look, the vegan sheepskin is also much more comfortable. For example, when the horse is eating the rug will not cut into the chest. The rug has a 160g fiberfill filling, which has the same performance as down but does not absorb any smell. To avoid rubbing marks, the rug is lined with our signature vegan rabbit skin. This fabric is extremely soft and creates a shiny effect on the horseās coat. On top of that, the vegan rabbit skin creates tiny pockets of air. These pockets trap and retain the horseās body heath causing an extra isolating layer. The combination of the materials creates a very breathable rug with a high warmth-to-weight ratio. Shape & sizeThe Show Rug is anatomically shaped and thanks to the vegan rabbit skin, you donāt need to worry about the position of the rug as it always moves back into place. To have a better distribution of the pressure, the front flaps close like a Z, and the front closures are easily adjustable for the best fit. The surcingles and bungee cord are also adjustable and detachable. Thanks to the flexibility of the Show Rug it can be used for multiple purposes and combined with other Kentucky Rugs. The buckles are made from stainless steel and therefore do not rust. The straps on the show rug are made from the same webbing as seatbelts and which makes them extra strong. The brass finish on the buckles and the vegan leather patches make the Show Rug look very chic. Care guideNext to the chic look, we found it important to have products that are easy to maintain. Thatās why the bungee cord has a plastic cover, and the show rug is washable. When washed at 30 degrees and no dryer is used, the quality of the materials remains best.
