The Prophete Urbanicer 4.0 is an urban electric longtail bike with a 36 cm frame height and 24 or 20-inch wheels. Its design is intended for carrying children and luggage and can be easily folded. With the Urbanicer 4.0, you have a true transport bike that will make your daily life car-free. The 48 V AEG SportDrive II motor is the most powerful motor offered by Prophete in 2025. With a power output of 250 W and a maximum torque of 100 Nm, it provides powerful support that adapts to your pedaling thanks to the integrated torque sensor in the crankset. The energy for the motor comes from the 15 Ah (720 Wh) lithium-ion battery, offering a range of up to 170 km (depending on riding style and terrain).
The electronic components are connected via the CAN bus and provide real-time information about the electric bike system on the multifunctional LCD screen, which also features start assistance and USB-C charging function. In addition to the motor and display, the lighting is also powered by the battery. A 90 LUX LED headlight and a rear light with a braking function, combined with reflective tires, ensure your visibility in traffic while maintaining good visibility of the road ahead.
On the comfort handlebar with screw-on Ergo grips, you’ll also find the hydraulic disc brake levers from Shimano and the gear lever for the Shimano Cues 9-speed transmission. Comfort features of this compact cargo bike include a Suntour suspension fork suitable for the 24-inch front wheels, an A-Head stem, and a Prophete Memory Foam saddle on an adjustable telescoping seat post. The rear rack can be folded out into a large bench and provides resting spaces for your children. If you need to park your bike, the sturdy double kickstand from Ursus is available. Of course, the Urbanicer 4.0 has been designed in compliance with StVZO requirements, and the user manual as well as a Prophete charger are included.
