The Zipp 454 NSW Tubeless Disc-brake wheel is the ultimate road racing wheel. It meets the demands of the high-performing cyclist. Aerodynamic and stable in all weather conditions, it features a wider rim designed for low-pressure tubeless tires, which reduces rolling resistance and vibrations. This means you'll lose as little energy as possible on the road. For the best combination of aerodynamics and reduced rolling resistance, a 28mm tire is recommended. Its 58mm Sawtooth rim with Hyperfoils is our most aerodynamic and stable wheel. The 454 NSW benefits from the TSE (Total System Efficiency) system from Zipp, our approach to tackling the biggest enemies of speed: wind resistance, gravity, rolling resistance, and vibrations. And gravity? The use of hookless rims (straight sides) by Zipp on the 454 NSW is essential to the 'You Faster' strategy. Thanks to this technology, the transition between the tire and rim is smoother and more aerodynamic. The hookless rims from Zipp have a more efficient resin distribution, resulting in lighter and stronger wheels. The 454 NSW is equipped with the premium ZR1 SL hub with ceramic bearings and 66 engagement points. This hub is also 30g lighter than the previous NSW wheel hub.
