As the flagship model of the Obex family, the POC Obex BC Mips helmet is particularly suited for ski touring, offering both comfort and safety. This helmet provides protection that adapts to various skiing and snowboarding styles thanks to its Mips reinforcement, offering protection against rotational impacts. The Obex BC features an EPS inner lining, a PC shell, and a thicker ABS outer shell compared to the Obex Mips, and also includes Aramid inserts that enhance the helmet's structural integrity and increase protection against penetration. The result is improved safety and increased durability. Additionally, the helmet is equipped with an NFC chip for medical identification, enabling rescuers to access vital medical information at the injury site to make the best decisions. A RECCO reflector additionally enhances search capabilities. The internal adjustment system covers the head circumference, allowing for a secure and comfortable fit without needing to change the padding. Adjustable ventilation covers allow for easy ventilation adjustment to ensure maximum comfort in all weather conditions, while additional integrated vents at the front of the helmet facilitate mask ventilation and help prevent fogging.
