FOX SLS (Super Light Steel) springs for DHX and DHX2 rear shocks are a lighter steel spring option, offered in addition to standard steel springs.
FOX's new SLS springs are lighter than titanium springs, yet more affordable. A proprietary surface treatment and heat-stabilizing process eliminate residual spring stresses, allowing them to withstand higher loads. Each spring is optimized using a smaller diameter wire and fewer coils, resulting in a lighter spring.
