The Vokey SM11 Wedges are available in 27 different variations with six proven grinds: F, S, M, D, K, and T. This ensures every golfer can find the wedge that best suits their game. Well-fitted wedges provide better ball contact and more versatility. This leads to more consistent ball flight, more spin, and better shots around the green.
Precise Center of Gravity Placement In previous models, the center of gravity varied slightly depending on the grind, even with the same loft. For the SM11, Vokey engineers have adjusted the center of gravity so that it is always in the same position for a given loft, regardless of the grind. This ensures a consistent feel, uniform ball flight, and simplifies the selection of the right wedge.
Progressive Center of Gravity Throughout the Set
• Low-loft wedges (44–52 degrees): The center of gravity is lower and central. This aids in the transition from irons and prevents excessive curvature on full shots. • Sand Wedges (54–56 degrees): The center of gravity is balanced between low and high loft. • High-loft wedges (58–60 degrees): The center of gravity is higher and closer to the heel. This provides a lower ball flight and more control on short shots.
New Face Texture The SM11 features a new face texture that increases friction and extends ball contact. This generates more consistent spin, especially on delicate shots around the green. The slightly forward-angled texture also protects the grooves, keeping them clean and effective for longer.
