The protector fits the horse's leg perfectly and covers only where necessary. The shell is slightly thicker at the back and on the sides of the fetlock, providing optimal protection to the horse's leg in these crucial areas.
The unique feature of the shell is its anatomical shape that adapts to the horse's leg, fitting its contours perfectly. The unique shape of the shell offers protection where needed, but it is also lighter than other tendon protectors: up to 10% lighter! The shell is hard for good protection, yet extremely flexible to fit the horse's leg shape well. Well-placed ventilation holes ensure the tendon does not overheat.
The protector is lined with our specially developed Air Liner, a thermoformed lining made from a material that provides optimal properties. The lining further absorbs shocks, thanks to the air present in the spaces created by the material and its composition.
