The Makalu Lite AS (AntiShock) Compact from LEKI for smaller body sizes is a reliable companion for extensive trekking tours and the next mountain adventure. In the compact Lite version with AntiShock element, the slimmer tube diameter (16/14/12 mm) results in a weight of only 245 g (per pole). The DSS Antishock System, integrated directly above the tip, absorbs the impact during pole use and relieves joints, tendons, and ligaments. It is equipped with the innovative Aergon-Air grip, providing optimized comfort and precise control. The special hollow chamber technology allows a combination of lightweight construction with large supporting areas that meet all ergonomic requirements of the hand. The rubberized grip back offers maximum grip and control when descending. The inclined angle helps the wrist achieve optimal guidance and placement of the pole, significantly contributing to safety on the mountain. The trekking pole features a Skinstrap 5.0 strap and can be adjusted in seconds thanks to Speed Lock 2 Plus. The compact Trekking baskets 2.0 prevent sinking into soft ground and can be easily replaced by hand.
