The Grade 6 Belt from Academy is a 26-inch bike specially designed for children. In collaboration with the German Institute of Orthopedics and Sports in Bielefeld, Academy set out to create a children's bike that is as light and high-quality as possible, perfectly suited for kids. Ergonomics and weight were decisive influences here.

Weight is a decisive factor, especially for children who want to learn to ride a bike. The Grade 6 from Academy weighs only 9 kg and is among the lightest children's bikes on the market. Thanks to its low weight, the Academy Grade is more maneuverable in turns and allows young cyclists to accelerate and climb hills more easily. With a lightweight bike, kids also don't need much strength to get it moving.
The low frame entry height allows children to mount easily. The patented Vario stem grows in height and length and can be continuously adjusted, allowing the bike to be optimally adapted to the sitting position. The Q-factor reflects the cyclist's pedaling motion. For children, it is particularly important to have a low Q-factor so that pedaling is optimally adapted to them.
