For its 25th anniversary, Asics has created a completely redesigned Nimbus with an exceptional look. The Gel-Nimbus 25 is an oversized shoe featuring FlyteFoam Blast+ cushioning combined with the new PureGel technology. Asics remains true to its roots and history, as Gel has always been part of its DNA. You benefit from maximum softness thanks to PureGel, along with dynamic rebound delivered by the FF Blast+ foam and the shoe’s curved shape.
The inner sleeve has also changed, as we now find a sock-like fit different from the previous version. On this Gel-Nimbus 25, the upper is made of two parts: the traditional structure combined with a small sock extension mainly positioned around the heel and ankle.
The tongue is the same as the one designed for the previous edition—thin and stretchy, perfectly wrapping around the shape of your foot for optimal comfort. This tongue also ensures excellent support from start to finish, whether you run on the road or on trails. Moreover, the AHAR+ rubber outsole provides the grip and traction needed for road running as well as forest paths.
