KIPRUN put the XT8 to the test in some of the most demanding and varied off-road locations, from the Mont Blanc massif to Puy Mary, and from the rugged coast of Côte d’Opale to the trails of Réunion Island.
In pursuit of versatility
Your feedback was essential in developing the Kiprun Trail XT8, the latest generation of our all-round trail shoe. Runners asked for versatility, which inspired us to design a new rubber heel compound for better grip and control. The shoe also underwent a full series of laboratory tests to confirm it can withstand everything the trail throws at it.
Intensive worldwide testing
To fine-tune performance, we worked with a panel of passionate trail runners, both men and women. They pushed the XT8 to its limits on diverse terrain, from Northern France and the Côte d’Opale to the slopes of Puy Mary, the Mont Blanc massif and the demanding tracks of Réunion Island.
