Although the fabric chosen is highly waterproof, the assembly of a down jacket doesn’t provide flawless waterproofing. It is therefore ideal for cold/very cold weather, but is not suitable for heavy rain.
Water repellent jacket, like all Quechua jackets.
A fabric's water-repellent property is its ability to let water slide off its surface without soaking in. The fabric doesn’t soak up water and so remains lightweight, breathable and warm. It is made from a treatment on the outside of the fabric, which must be renewed (every 3 washes).

The synthetic fibre filling of this down jacket makes it very warm so you can face temperatures down to -13°C. Ideal for cold days or for waiting periods on ski lifts.
The vents provide fresh air when needed.
Although this jacket is warm above all else, if you need a bit of fresh air after exercise, you can open and adjust the ventilation zips according to your needs.
The Warm 900 padded jacket is made with a lined fabric.
This is a very thin polyurethane film that makes the material waterproof while remaining breathable. More flexible, lightweight, resistant and often more breathable than coating, which is less expensive and requires a protective lining, similar to paint applied to the inside of the fabric.
This product is repairable.
During the two-year guarantee period, if your product can be repaired (hooks, seams, zips, etc.), the repairs are done free of charge. Beyond this time period, they can still be done for a fee, locally in your usual shop.

How should you dress under your ski jacket?
Under this down ski jacket, which is intended to be very warm for your comfort, we recommend that you wear a thermal base layer 1, and consider a layer 2 (such as fleece or wool) that’s not too warm. How to restore the jacket's water-repellent properties?
The water-repellency of your jacket must be regularly reactivated (every three washes): over time, even if it remains waterproof thanks to its material, the jacket seems to start absorbing water. To do this, use a reactivating spray or a treatment reapplication product, and follow the tutorial in the customer service section of our website.
Wash and/or dry your ski/snowboard jacket: following a specific protocol, you can improve its lifespan.
Close the zips, loosen the ties and read the instructions on the label. Use a tumble dryer set to a synthetic cycle to restore the fibres. If you don't have a tumble dryer, you can find tutorials on our YouTube channel or our after-sales website.
