Waterproof testing
We test all our coats in the lab under heavy water flow to measure their waterproof performance. This lightweight raincoat has a Schmerbers rating of 5,000 mm, which means it can withstand around one hour of steady rain.
Breathability rating
The fabric is finished with a hydrophilic coating that lets body moisture escape. With a breathability rating of 12 RET, it’s ideal for a 2-hour hike at a pace of about 5 km/h, keeping you comfortable without overheating.

Caring for rainproof coats
After heavy rain or a few washes, the rainproof membrane may lose some of its effectiveness—this is normal and easy to reactivate. Simply warm the fabric in a tumble dryer (15 minutes, synthetic cycle), with a hairdryer (20 cm away), or with an iron (delicate setting, no steam). For best results, repeat every 12 wears or after 3 washes.
